There's been a lot of talk about who the new X Factor judges to replace Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger will be, and it seems like we now have an answer that question!
It seems that Britney Spears signed a deal with the show a few days ago, and now sources confirm to E! News that the last and final judge will be pop-sensation Demi Lovato! This is so exciting, I love both of these lovely ladies very much!
Although there hasn't been an official announcement from FOX, many sources say that the announcement should and will take place later today or tomorrow at the Beacon Theatre in New York. As soon as the announcement is made, I will update this post!
With these two new judges that means that the X Factor judge panel will now consist of: Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato. Sounds like a pretty good darn panel to me! Both Demi and Britney have been through a lot in their lives and have a lot of experience in the music industry so I am sure they will make great judges and add to the quality of the show!
And there you guys have it! That picture should be the official confirmation. After the event in New York, Fox officially announced that Britney and Demi will be joining Cowell and Reid at the judges' table. What a shocker. Britney was the one to tweet the above picture because she was so stoked! Just look at how happy they all are.
She said at the event, "I'm so excited about this whole experience. It's going to be so much fun and so different than anything I've ever done. I'm ready to find a true star."
While Demi Lovato added, "I'm totally stoked to be here, because of not only the opportunity to be a judge here, but the presence of you guys. It's just an honor to be standing next to you. I'm excited to represent my generation, and I'm ready to find the winner."
Are you excited to hear that Demi and Britney are the new X Factor judges or would you have prefered someone else?

If you have not watched the season finale of Vampire Diaries, season 3 then I suggest you please leave, go on your computer, TV, whatever it is you usually watch it on and WATCH IT RIGHT NOW. Then, come back and read this. Because of course, as usual this post will have spoilers, it's a recap, duh.
Now off with the recap and thoughts. OMG OMG OMGG YOU GUYS HOW AWESOME WAS THIS EPISODE? BEYOND AMAZING. It wouldn't be Vampire Diaries without heartbreak, twists, deaths and of course a cliff-hanger! Especially in the finale, because it contained ALL of that.
This episode starts off with Elena in the hospital after she suddenly collapsed last episode. Jeremy called 911 and brought her to Dr. Meredith to treat her. Damon and Stefan think this was a stupid idea because who needs doctor when she's got her own set of vampires? Damon and Stefan decide that one of them needs to go back for Elena and one needs to take care of Klaus' body. Of course, it's Stefan who goes back to her...
She's with Matt when he walks in and she gives him a warm hug. Then there's the flashbacks. We get to see Jenna again, YAY! (though not enough), and then we meet Elena's parents for the first time. A very attractive couple, I must say. It was so weird seeing her in her cheerleading uniform, as well as Bonnie. Also her dating Matt back then and sharing a kiss. It just shows how far Elena's come and how much everything her life has changed since then.
Elijah is also back in this episode! Yipeee!!! It totally made up for the fact that Klaus wasn't in this. I need me some sexy originals. Plus, I love Elijah, and he is SO in love with Elena. Which guy isn't, really? He is there for an offer. He and Rebekah wants Klaus' body because he is part of their family after all. Oh, now you guys care?
Meanwhile, evil Alaric is trying to persuade Jeremy to get on his side by protecting his sister by getting rid of all the vampires. Also because he told the whole counsil about Tyler and Caroline, the Mystic moms (Mrs. Lockwood & Sheriff Forbes) demand them to leave town and run because they will be hunted down otherwise. At first they are hesitant, but then realise that they love each other and that this would actually be pretty romantic and they can get away from it all and live forever and ever, happy ever after. Eh, not exactly. You really think you guys would get away that easily, huh?
Stefan, Jeremy, and Matt set off, but before that happens Stefan and Elena have a heart-felt moment and even share a romantic kiss! That's because Stefan doesn't know whether this will be the last time he's going to see her again. I felt that this kiss kind of influenced her decision, it made her realise that she missed him being with her and making her feel safe and alright. Which is why...
SHE CHOOSES STEFAN. Yes, she chooses Stefan. I had to repeat it twice, because I was so angry. I knew this was going to happen, it was so typical. She calls Damon after he is totally beaten up by Alaric and he finally asks her straight up who she chooses. She says the reason is because Stefan came into her life first and was the first one she loved. Little does she know, SHE ACTUALLY MET DAMON FIRST. In another flashback, it shows Elena on the night of the accident out in the streets and Damon introduces himself and comforts her and gives her sweet advice. But when her parents car pulls up, he compels her to forget all of that because he doesn't want anyone knowing he's in town just yet. Oh Damon, why are you so good to her?
You know what this means, right? Well it means that Delena is not endgame. What does that mean? That means, her decision is not final. It can be changed now that....
ELENA'S A VAMPIRE. Yess, a vampire, you heard right. When you turn into a vampire, you remember every memory that you had been compeled to forget when you were a human. And since Damon compeled her to forget the memory of when they first met, she may reconsider her decision because since her decison was partly based on who she met first, she did meet Damon FIRST. She will also remember the time when Damon told her he loved her and then compeled her to forget. Oh yeah! One more thing! In the flashback, Damon says that she wants a love that consumes her, and Elena says that she loves Damon because he consumes her! UM HINT HINT ANYONE!?
Now, Elena as a vampire? That was definitely the shocker, twist, cliff-hanger, whatever you wanna call it. I did not see that coming. But apparently that was what happened in the books. Turns out when she was in the hospital, she didn't really have a concussion, she had a brain hemmorhage so Dr. Meredith fed her human blood. IT'S HER FAULT. But, we also have to thank her, because if she didn't feed her that blood, Elena would be dead. Vampire Elena is better than no Elena at all. At the end of the finale, we see Elena dead and pale, and then suddenly wake up. Did this scene remind anyone else at all of the ending of Breaking Dawn? Haha, just a thought. I personally can't wait to see how Elena will be as a vampire, it'll definitely be interesting and the show will have a great turn. However, I will also miss the human Elena because that's what Stefan and Damon loved so much about her, that she was still a human and had true feelings...now she'll just be like another Katherine, with a different personality, of course.
Speaking of Katherine, I also can't wait for her to see that Elena's a vampire now. I bet she'll be even more jealous now! Also, this is all Rebekah's fault!! Why did she have to stand in the way of her and Matt. Actually, no wait this is stupid Matt and Jeremy's fault for even thinking they could "save" Elena when they are puny humans and she has her own set of vampires who are both incredibly in love with her and would give up their lives to save hers! SO WHY THE HECK WOULD THEY COME IN BETWEEN THAT?!
Now, what happened to Klaus, you may ask? Well he died, sort of. His deaths are complicated. In the last episode, he was dessicated by Stefan. Then in this episode, first he was staked by Alaric in front of Damon and Rebekah. Rebekah was definitely sad and cried, but then had to flee before Alaric staked her too. I was so sad when I saw Klaus burning, it was heart shattering. I knew I had to say goodbye to his character for real now. BUT THEN ANOTHER TWIST HAPPENED.
He's not really DEAD!! Because when Damon left Bonnie in the storage room alone with his body, she decided to be bad-ass and do a different witch-y spell and make it so that Klaus' body would transfer over to Tyler's body so that she wouldn't risk the Salvatores and of course her mother. Smart smart Bonnie!
But this leaves us with the question of, is Tyler really dead now that Klaus has taken over his body? Because if he is, then that totally sucks for Caroline, their romance was so incredible! Plus, he was the only werewolf on the show!!
Also, is Matt dead or alive? We know when him and Elena were drowning when Elena signaled to Stefan to save Matt instead of her, but we never got to see him after that.
Another dead person is Alaric, because now that Elena is no longer a human and technically died, so did Alaric. So we can say goodbye to Matt Davis' character. Well-played Mr. Davis, you were truly a great addition to the show. I had already mourned Alaric's death before so I wasn't as upset when he really died this episode. Also, when the "ghost" Alaric came in front of Jeremy and said his goodbye and that he will always watch over him, heart-shattering
The part that really broke my heart (other than Elena telling Damon she chooses Stefan) was when Damon was fighting off Alaric and then Alaric started dying in front of him. Damon realized that because Alaric died that Elena must have died too. This is why I'm team Delena, because the love he has for is so great even after she told him she chose Stefan.
BUT OMG OVERALL THIS SEASON FINALE WAS SO EPIC! Julie Plec is an incredible writer. The end was such a twist and cliffhanger, and the deaths definitely broke my heart, as well as Elena's choice. I can't believe I have to wait 4 months until the next season.
What did you think of the season finale? Do you think Elena made the right choice by picking Stefan? What do you think will happen next season with Elena now as a vampire? SO MANY QUESTIONS!!
Have you ever dreamed of going on a date with a celebrity or just wanted to see what it's like being with a celebrity? Then "The Choice" is the show for you!
The Choice is an upcoming show just like "The Voice" except there's no talent required, really. Except for your charming skills, of course. The stars who will be on the show have just been announced and the host will be Cat Deeley. Just like 'The Voice,' four celebrities sit in spinning chairs and listen to the potential dates explaining why they are the perfect person to go on a date with, and if the celebrities seem interested, they turn around and face the person. The contestants are then narrowed down over three rounds until each of the celebrities have chosen a final date. The show will air on FOX on June 7, 2012.
Below is a list of the celebrities who will be the participating:
Dr. Robert Nettles
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino
What do you think of the celebrity picks? Which one would you want to score a date with?
Disney has just confirmed that Avengers 2 is already in development. Shocked? Yeah, me neither.
After The Avengers smashed the all-time opening-weekend record, and now has grossing over $702 million so far, it's pretty obvious Disney is lovin' the ka-ching ka-ching $$.
The CEO of Disney, Bob Iger, said the film’s success “is a great illustration of why we like Marvel so much.” He also said that the demand for Avengers merchandise has been strong.
In his announcement he also said that before Avengers 2 is out, there will be a Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 in 2013 and Captain America 2 in 2014. So that would mean Avengers 2 would come out around 2015. Not bad, we can wait 3 more years.
Iger also said that there will be a Marvel-theme at Disney Parks in the future. Looks like the Marvels are definitely taking over!
Are you excited for 'Avengers 2'? What would you like to see in the sequel?
Unfortunately, although Gary Ross did a great job filming "Hunger Games," he will not be filming the sequel.
But that's okay folks, because we got the next best thing! The director of 'Catching Fire' has been announced and it is Francis Lawrence. And NO, he is not Jennifer Lawrence's father or relative. Here's what he has to say:
"Hello fellow Hunger Games fans! I just want you all to know how unbelievably excited and honored I am to be a part of Catching Fire. At the end of the day, all of the work that I put in to my movies is for you -- the fans. Make sure to post and let me know what you’re most excited to see in this adaptation as we aim to make something truly faithful and spectacular!"
Awe, he seems nice! And it looks like some of the cast likes him as well and don't mind him directing them even though they adored Gary Ross.
Liam Hemsworth who plays Gale in the famous trilogy says, "The last I heard, the new director [Lawrence] had just come on, so that's really cool. I'm excited about that. I think we shoot the last few months of this year."
Josh Hutcherson (Peeta) also expressed his excitement about Francis. He said, "Francis is extremely talented, and everyone I’ve talked to says he’s the best guy in the world, so I think he’s going to bring a lot.”
Sounds good to me!
Lawrence began his career by filming only music videos at first but since then he has grown to filming movies like Constantine and Water for Elephants.
What do you think of the new director they picked out for 'Catching Fire'? Do you think he can make this film as awesome as 'Hunger Games' was?
It seems that Tyra Banks and Drake may be the newest couple in Hollywood. On May 4th, the two were spotted together in California at Disneyland sharing laughs, getting food together, and going on some rides.
In the photos above, they are dressed pretty casual (even Tyra who's a top model) like they are on a date and are getting some yogurt. Drake even tried to disguise himself by sporting a fake moustache! Oh Aubrey.
Everyone started talking about the new couple and their age difference. I mean, Tyra is 38 and he's only 25.
However, Gossip Cop turned down the rumor and said: “The two were NOT on a date, and they are NOT a 'new couple.'" An insider told them that she and Drake ran into each other by accident and hung out, and they hardly know each other.
Well, maybe they got to know each other a bit? Maybe it was fate that they were there at the same time?
However, Tyra Banks did recently end her 3-year long relationship with John Utendahl AND Drake broke up with Dollicia Bryan in January. So, maybe it's a little fast for them both to get into a new relationship. But hey, ever heard of rebounds?
What do you think? Are Drake and Tyra cute together - or is she just too old for him?
The Avengers has beat the opening weekend record! Yes, you heard right! You know what that means right? It beat previous record-holder Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. What a shocker (to many people)! But I honestly kind of saw it coming. The Avengers had a lot of hype built around it and it definitely lived up. I saw it yesterday, and it was truly amazing. Even though I had to go to three theaters before I found one that wasn't sold out and then had to wait a long time in line, it was so worth it. Who wouldn't want to see all the Marvels fighting together? That's right, no one.
The film grossed about $200.3 million in its Friday-Sunday box-office debut. Now imagine how much it will make today (Sunday). This is the first movie to break the $200 million record in three days.
The movie even earned $15 million just at IMAX theaters alone! After over a week in release worldwide, The Avengers has grossed approximately $614.8 million.
Here is the all-time top ten opening weekend records as it is now:
- The Avengers, $200.3 million
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, $169.2 million
- The Dark Knight, $158.4 million
- The Hunger Games, $152.5 million
- Spider-Man 3, $151.1 million
- The Twilight Saga: New Moon, $142.8 million
- The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn—Part 1, $138.1 million
- Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, $135.6 million
- Iron Man 2, $128.1 million
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, $125 million
Have you seen The Avengers yet? Do you think the movie was better than Harry Potter and that it deserved to beat its record?
This Thursday, May 10, the season finale of the Vampire Diaries will air which is titled - "The Departed."
In two recent clips that were released, we get to see parts of what will happen.
In the first clip, it shows Elena and Matt together most likely after Elena has woken up from hitting her head and having blood drained out of her entire body. Elena asks Matt where everyone is and Matt says that Tyler and Caroline are with their mothers which probably means that there's trouble for those two. I mean, Alaric did pretty much reveal to the entire council that Sherrif Forbes and Carol Lockwood have supernatural children. After that Elena realizes it's sophomore year and how much everything has changed and decides to apologize to Matt for stringing him along those days. She knows that this is what she is doing to Stefan and Damon now and decides that she will have to let one of them go. Matt asks her "Which one?" but before she can answer, Stefan walks in! Darn! Wait, could that be a sign? That either means Stefan is the one she will let go or the one she will keep because she then gives him a very warm hug afterwards.
In the second clip, it's Damon and Bonnie (yay for Bamon!), seems like Damon is still Team Bonnie. They are both on their way to a storage locker where Klaus' coffin is. Damon says he didn't use the obvious 666 number but instead chose 1020. This storage has a mini-fridge, couple bird cages, box of old playboys and of course a "one beef-jerkified Orginal." We then see the coffin, looks like they didn't decide to throw him in the lake after all.
In the season finale, Damon will also find himself in a difficult position when Alaric forces him to tell him where Klaus' body is by beating him. And when I say beating him, I mean really badly. Ian Somerhalder says about the finale, "I was getting my ass kicked. The last shot of the finale of the show, [I'm] just getting beaten down. I got my ass kicked a lot in that episode. It's pretty bloody."
These two clips get me so excited!! I can't wait :D
How excited are you? Who do you think Elena will choose, Stefan or Damon?

Ever since Adele hit the airwaves in 2011, most of us have been obsessed with her soulful voice and sorrowful lyrics. She has appeared on pretty much every music magazine cover, swept the Grammys, and is still trucking on strong with her latest hit Rolling in the Deep.
That all must be a lot to take in for a young woman turning 24 today. Somehow, I think Adele can handle it though.
In honor of her birthday, here are 10 Things You Probably Didn't Know About Adele:
1. Rumor Has It that Adele's album 21 was inspired by her breakup with actor/musician Slinky Winfield.
2. She has a tendency to name her albums after the age she was when she started each one: 19, 21.
3. Adele lists The Spice Girls amongher early influences.
4. Her first U.S. television appearance was on The Today Show.
5. Someone Like You is the first vocal and piano only song to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart since it's founding in 1958!
6. Adele has a Miniature Dachshund.
7. In the U.S. alone, Adele's album 21 has sold more copies than Katy Perry's Teenage Dream, Lady Gaga's Born This Way, Rihanna's Talk That Talk and Beyoncé's 4 - combined.
8. Rolling in the Deep has charted on the Billboard Adult Contemporary, Alternative Songs, Hot Dance Club Songs, Hot R&B/ Hip-Hop Songs, Rock Songs, Pop Songs and Adult Pop Songs charts.
9. Adele attended BRIT School for Performing Arts with Leona Lewis.
10. Her first concert was The Cure when she was just 3 years old. Her mother took her.
Happy Birthday Adele!
